I just spoke with Kevin, and one thing he said is he does not want to lose any drivers. These rules are not set in granite, and the Venom Series is not necessarily a done deal. What he is looking for is good positive feedback on this set of rules. What do you like? What don't you like? and why? We have a great group of racers and crews and families, so let's go about this right, and have a positive impact.

I like the ABC rules or venom rules. To me its a run what ya brung rule, everyone qualifies. Basicly you run against your own size of bank account.
After a good car count then decide on witch class to keep or let go,instead of testing rules, witch just makes alot of people mad.

Please keep ABC rules and RACE FORMAT!!!. If you want to see this track succeed and get the respect it deserves then you will listen to the DRIVERS and FANS not the promoters. Thanks Shawn

Need to just keep what was working, this is what i see in the rules that needs to GO,
No Falcon, Bert or Brin transmissions
Minimum frame height: 4”
$200 claimer on MSD box. If box is claimed, must exchange. If the track buys
the box, MSD box will be returned within 7 days if legal and driver must return the
money to the track.
No rack and pinion steering systems
No quick changes. No cambered rear ends
No pressure system.
No coilovers. No coilover eliminators.
Minimum 5” coils
Only shock legal are the Pro Shock WB series welded bearing 7 inch or 9
inch factory issued only. No shock will be allowed to be higher than an #8
on rebound. No bump rubbers or shims on front shocks. Shafts must be
bare. Only 1 shock per corner-4 shocks per car. No take apart, no tie
down, no gas fill shocks, no Afco/Billstein/Ohlins/QA1/Carrear/Integra shocks.
Lower control arms stock and in stock location.
NEED TO ALLOW
Quick changes
Offset Chassis
Any shock other than remote canister
Coil-overs
No minimum frame height.
There is more but i am limited on time right now, will add to this later. Then i will move into the 4cyl class that needs a lot of work to.

A really easy way to do this for the pro stock and pure stock classes is to just copy what spartan is doing this year, that is where u will get the cars from anyway, and they are the same for the most part as what springport ran under last season. do that for those and imho you should do the same for the 4cyl division, we are not racing that anymore but i believe that is the way to go.
