Perry, Mi- Race Cars race on in the Perry Peep Center and gave the kids an exciting day of short track racing.

VROA Modified Racing Series driver Brad Perry and crew chief Larry Parsons joined RACESTATUS.com MCR Dwarf announcer Terry Smitherman for the big show and gave the kids just that, a big show. There were 80 children in attendance for today’s big event, where the kids were given a tour of Brad Perry’s hauler and a chance to sit behind the wheel of VROA #8. The kids were also shown all safety gear, helmet with Haans device, gloves, shoes and fire suit, and learned about the important of safety in auto racing. Also, event announcer Terry Smitherman gave the kids a little history lesson about racing and had some nice die cast cars to show the kids differences of race cars, and nice gift bags with free slurpee’s from 7-11 in Perry, and also cards from RACESTATUS.com so they can get set up for racing news.

Perry a VROA driver out Cambridge Ontario, Canada #8 is deck out with the Optimus Prime, who’s team was developed in 1974 is sponsored by ionbond Component Coating, Schiedel Construction, Morepower racing engines, Reliance Machine Works, Remax Realty, CarQuest Automotive, Lane Automotive and Georgetown Printers. He also autographed pictures for all the kids, given them something to memorable for the day.

All in all it was fantastic show for the young children of the Perry Peep Program, and opportunity to learn about short track racing and a chance sit in a VROA Modified and get a chance to meet to learn about racing industry.
