Perry, Mi. - On a beautiful Pre-Summer night the RACESTATUS.com MCR Dwarfs invade the Springport Motor Speedway for Round 2 of the 2010 season, and again did not disappoint those race fans in attendance.

Brownstown, Michigan native Brad Wyatt set fast time for the night with a 16.27 around 3/8 mile high bank oval, .13 sec faster than the “Barefoot Kid” Craig Curtis who had qualify in his back up car setting 16.40. Mike Mcmanman Sr. set third fastest time with a 16.53 narrowly edging out the “Hot Shoe” Eric Hoffman who set his time at 16.55. The “Flying Fireman” Jeff Slayton rounded out your top 5 setting the fifth fastest time with a 16.57.

In Heat Race 1 it was Joe Mcmanman edging out Todd Getz for the victory, The “Tool Man” Rick Ayers crossing the line in third rounding out the top three. In Heat Race 2, it was the “Wylie One” Jon Wylie crossing the line ahead of Mike Mcmanman Jr. for the victory, Eric Hoffman taking third rounding out your top three.

In the Feature, it was a Wylie night as the #29 of Jon Wylie found his way into Victory Lane for second week in a row, Wylie who had major car problems earlier in the night during qualifying found his way back on top. Brad Wyatt, your fast qualifier, took second in the feature scoring him major points in the standings. Joe Mcmanman held off your 2007, 2008 Dwarf Champ Eric Hoffman to take the third and great point’s night for him. Rounding the top five it was Craig Curtis, who went to his back up ride during qualifying, and also found his way to the rear in the feature for a spin.

In the points lead it is Jon Wylie on top after two races with 91 points, 9 points better than your 2009 champion Craig Curtis with 82 points. Eric Hoffman has 5 point lead on your fourth place driver Brad Wyatt with 79 points and Wyatt with 74 points. Rounding out you top five it is Mike Mcmanman Sr. with 67 points.

Join the RACESTATUS.com MCR Dwarfs next weekend May 29th as the first G.L.A.S event at the Angola Speedway were we expect a strong dwarf car turn out.
